My Lawn, My Joy

During my free time, I love to stay outside and do some light yard works. Glad we have a place called home where we can breath fresh air in the backyard.

A likes to play outside. While I am pulling some weeds or watering the grass, she's happily singing and swinging in her swing.  I am thinking of planting some flowers, tomatoes and eggplants.

Being a homebody, it would teach me how to get away from the mall...wink! I doubt it, in life we need to balance life. Doing variety of stuff just makes our world go round:) Keeping up life, in general!

Happy For Pamangkin

I have 19 pamangkins (nephews and nieces) and I'm so proud of them. JR stands out from the rest of them, I guess.

At school, he is a member of the dance troop and so with the glee club (singing). He's popular in the school where he's going to.

In fact, they joined the showtime, the show where Ann Curtis is one of the hosts.

Keep up the good work, JR! We are all here to support you.

Moving Here

Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis

I thought when I moved here with my husband that we’d be working the land together and waking up early to gather eggs and all that – I didn’t really think that this would be so hard. As it turns out he’s gotten a full time job so it’s all up to me to keep this farm running when he’s not here. I’ve made some upgrades like hiring a farmhand and I went to hughesnet.com to get internet so I could contact vendors and order stuff online but at the end of the day running this small farm is way more work than any job I’ve ever had in my life. I know we were talking about starting to have kids when we moved out here but you know, at this rate I don’t think I have enough energy at the end of the day to wash the dishes much less chase a toddler around. I don’t know where my husband thinks I’m going to find the time to be a mom!

What A Great Easter!

Thankful to a friend for the thoughtfulness:) A's so happy with her big, big Bunnies. Well, one is for me, supposedly but she hugs both. That's okay, the generous heart really understand the concept...wink!

Early morning, as early as 4:00 A.M, we woke up so we can attend the Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks. It was A and I's 1st time. What a blessing to have friends around where we can carpool with them.

After the service, A took a nap and then late afternoon, we carpool again with another friend so our kids can have Egg hunting while the parents are having a party and as usual enjoying the Filipino food.

What a busy and wonderful Easter we had!

My Godsister (Igso- Inaanak ng Nanay Ko)

What a great privilege to see my so called little sis for visiting us in Colorado for 5 days.
They arrived last Saturday morning driving all the way from Norman, Oklahoma.

The last time I saw her, she was still a baby and crawling all over the boarding house we were living.

Amazing that for how many years, we crossed our path again and the reunion is in a different country. We never know where life gonna lead us, huh!

As always, glory and honor to Him for giving us the opportunity to be reunited even for just 5 days of bonding. Superdooper, my A's so happy to have someone at the house.

To be continued...busy at work:)

Hold Onto Good Deals

Guest written by our friend Trent Horton

I think I actually have the website, www.DirectStarTV.com, book marked on my computer at home. I did it a few months ago when I was first considering getting a different TV service set up at our house. I think I came across it and realized how nice it would be to have installed. It had a lot of local channels available and at a really good price compared to what we were getting using our other provider. I am loyal to companies and providers when they are worth being loyal to. I am definitely loyal to this company now. Any time I have needed help, it has been so easy to talk to a person about the problem I was having. The bill is not high at all and I definitely think I am getting more than what I am paying for. I love that feeling. It is a sign that you have a real deal and it is definitely rare to find that nowadays it seems. Once you find a good deal, you have to stay loyal to it as long as it works and so far, this one is working. Thank goodness for that!

What A Blissful Life

A secret to happiness in life can be found in yourself.

People has been asking how do I survive with all the monthly bills and with a kid in tow being just a part time worker.

Well, the explanation is just so simple, have faith and be faithful in your giving. Of course, have a good heart. Being vocal and straight forward can be tough. As the saying says...truth can hurt:)
I'm not a very religious person but I do believe in returning of what the Lord has given to us.

Life is so smooth and simple without worries. Of course, make sure you know how to budget and don't go overboard of what you only have. For sure, debts is bad.

No matter how much sacrifice you do in life to become rich without a giving heart, life is empty and miserable.

God don't want His people to be poor and miserable. He has to make sure that His children has enough and it is really true. There maybe some rough roads but it is just a way of God's reminder to us that, "oooppps! wrong turn, keep it straight".

This is my blog and this is my way of expressing how I feel and sharing the good and the bad stuff...wink!

Never get stress about life, just keep going and be faithful.
