Nasiguro jud nako nga nangalimyon ang baho sulod sa among payag nga gipuy-an.

Ahehehe! Mao ni resulta sa tawo nga nakakaon ug lansang....hek ug har!

Ashed Wednesday

Happy Ashed Wednesday, EVERYONE!

How did I know about it?

One of our clients came in this morning with an ash on her forehead. A very nice LADY and she even told me about the long line in getting one.

Time flies and it's the Lenten season once and for all.

My Child's Birthday Invitation

Praised God it's over with! Me and my Hubby (specially me!) had this great ordeal from our Angelina.

What is it all about?

It was the last week of January that Kathleen invited Angelina personally to her 5th birthday. (Can you imagine how our children talked and remembered what's being transpired between the two of them? ...lolz!) It was my little girl who told me after we went to a get together where Kathleen and her were playing along with the other kids.

Kathleen's mom already gave me a head's up too. I was aware with the whole situation.
Funny thing about it, since day one Angelina got invited it's in our everyday conversation with her.

As soon as she woke up in the morning she bugged her Da or me asking, "Is it Kathleen's birthday now?"

We tried to explain to her as simply as we could using the calendar and counting the days but still she had to asked every morning. She's in the stage of asking to the max or pushed as much as she could....whaaaaa!!!!!

"Mama, Kathleen wants me to be on her birthday because we are friends." I always have to hear this almost everyday not until it was held yesterday afternoon.

We learned a lesson not to tell our Angelina of any upcoming events not until on the very closed date. It works for me...

Well, oh well...our kiddos were having a great time playing the Jumping Castle at the host backyard yesterday.
I will post some pics when I have the chance.

Thank you for patronizing and being my avid fan in the blogging world. For sure, you inspired me to keep my daily journal. You all ROCK as in ROCK jud ha! (har! har! har!...unsa man ni CODE? wink!)

What Did You Bake?

A HUSBAND IS AT HOME WATCHING A
FOOTBALL GAME WHEN HIS WIFE INTERRUPTS,

HONEY,
COULD YOU FIX THE LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY?
IT'S BEEN FLICKERING FOR WEEKS NOW.

HE LOOKS AT HER AND SAYS ANGRILY,
FIX THE LIGHTS NOW?
DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE
GE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO.

FINE,

THEN THE WIFE ASKS,
WELL THEN, COULD YOU FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?
IT WON'T CLOSE RIGHT

TO WHICH HE REPLIED,
FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?
DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE WESTINGHOUSE
WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO

FINE, SHE SAYS
THEN YOU COULD AT LEAST FIX THE STEPS
TO THE FRONT DOOR?
THEY ARE ABOUT TO BREAK

I'M NOT A CARPENTER AND I DON'T
WANT TO FIX STEPS
HE SAYS, DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE
ACE HARDWARE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO
I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU.
I'M GOING TO THE BAR!!!!

SO HE GOES TO THE BAR AND DRINKS FOR A
COUPLE OF HOURS....... ........ ......... ......

HE STARTS TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT HOW
HE TREATED HIS WIFE, AND DECIDES
TO GO HOME

AS HE WALKS INTO THE HOUSE HE NOTICES
THAT THE STEPS ARE ALREADY FIXED.

AS HE ENTERS THE HOUSE , HE SEES THE
HALL LIGHT IS WORKING

AS HE GOES TO GET A BEER, HE NOTICES
THE FRIDGE DOOR IS FIXED.

HONEY, HE ASKS, HOW'D ALL THIS GET FIXED?
SHE SAID, WELL, WHEN YOU LEFT I SAT
OUTSIDE AND CRIED.

JUST THEN A NICE YOUNG MAN ASKED ME
WHAT WAS WRONG, AND I TOLD HIM.

HE OFFERED TO DO ALL THE REPAIRS, AND
ALL I HAD TO DO WAS EITHER
GO TO BED WITH HIM OR BAKE A CAKE.

HE SAID,
SO WHAT KIND OF CAKE DID YOU BAKE?

SHE REPLIED,
HELLOOOOO..
DO YOU SEE BETTY CROCKER WRITTEN
ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO!

Saving Your Home

Are you behind on your mortgage payments and facing forclosure? Get back on the right track. Help is finally here with loan modification to lower interest rates, extended payment terms and lower monthly payments.

A mortgage loan modification is a change to the loan contract which is agreed to by the lender and the homeowner. The lender modifies the existing loan(s) in order to work with the homeowner because of a hardship. The purpose is to help make the loan(s) more affordable. Usually it is in the form of a rate reduction and fixing the rate for a certain duration of time. In the past, this was only used when a borrower was delinquent and suffered a hardship such as a job loss, divorce, illness, etc.

Now, borrowers can obtain modifications from their lender for unaffordable rate adjustments on adjustable rate mortgages. The earlier the homeowner addresses the issue, the better the chances are of negotiating a fixed rate and a payment that is manageable. If the homeowner can afford their home and just not their mortgage, then they may be eligible for a loan modification.

Where to find all this help? Visit youwalkaway.com online. This company is run by a team with over 50 years of combined real estate and legal expreience. They help people understand their rights and know their options so they don't feel helpless.

At You Walk Away, rest assure that they provide foreclosure assistance too.

Enjoy Reading Psalms 37:8-40

8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.

9 For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.

11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy great peace.

12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;

13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.

15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.

16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;

17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18 The days of the blameless are known to the LORD,
and their inheritance will endure forever.

19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

20 But the wicked will perish:
The LORD's enemies will be like the beauty of the fields,
they will vanish—vanish like smoke.

21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;

22 those the LORD blesses will inherit the land,
but those he curses will be cut off.

23 If the LORD delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm;

24 though he stumble, he will not fall,
for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.

26 They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be blessed.

27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.

28 For the LORD loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
They will be protected forever,
but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;

29 the righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.

30 The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks what is just.

31 The law of his God is in his heart;
his feet do not slip.

32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
seeking their very lives;

33 but the LORD will not leave them in their power
or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

34 Wait for the LORD
and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
flourishing like a green tree in its native soil,

36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
though I looked for him, he could not be found.

37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
there is a future [b] for the man of peace.

38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
the future [c] of the wicked will be cut off.

39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.

40 The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in Him.

Happy Friday The 13th

What a beautiful Friday morning! The brightness of the sun just woke me up. I heard someone's taking a shower and I just went straigh downstairs and found the daughter and father bonding watching "Lazy Town" on Noggin already.

My Hubby's in the best mood, I can just tell. We all woke up on the right side of our bed. It's FLY Day!

Ma and Pa came down and joined us after taking their early showers. We're all home and relaxing. Yes, I'm pretty well adjusted to the situation where my husband is in our home 24/7. He's retired. It's just a matter of time.

After a while of watching TV, Hubby got up and cooked a quick Malt-O-Meal Wheat and put some Banana to it. As we start eating, we looked at Ma and Pa's reaction of the food they eat. Guess what? They like it too.

Our plan for the day is to go grocery shopping later in the afternoon. Hubby's been thinking of cleaning our backyard as soon as it's warm enough for him to stay outside and maybe we will join him for some fun of TEAMWORK!

Odong with Sardines

I stayed in MAPA's room watching our Soap Opera on TFC. Hubby's watching our main TV downstairs. It must be very important.

At the same time, I grabbed some tasks. Most Opportunities knock only once might as well enjoy the moment with regards to this paid blogging matter.

After feasting my eyes on TV, I went straight to our kitchen and check what to cook for dinner.

I saw this "Odong" and decided to make an Odong soup with Sardines and Pechay leaves on it. Actually, it was my Ma who did the cooking. I just sliced the vegetables, spices, opened the Sardines and the Odong.

We had an early dinner so we can watch our favorite Tv series "24".

We all ate the Odong Soup including my American Husband. One person complained that it was spicy hot, no other than the youngest member of our family, Angelina.

We're out of regular sardines so we used the red hot one, the reason why it's a little bit hot.

It was a simple meal but we're all loving the taste of a Filipino Odong Soup.

Right now, we're in front of our TV. Hubby's sitting on our couch while I am on the floor with my computer. I'm enjoying the massage that my husband is giving me on my back and pretty soon this massage thingy will turn into a romantic night full of love and passion.

Love and marriage is a gift from Heaven. Good night and God Bless, fellow bloggers.

Just Loving This Quotes

"If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, He deceives himself."

To tell you what, there's people out there who got a mind set that kind of mentality where in reality,...wink! To SEE is to BELIEVE...

People are wondering what trigger or cause that kind of behavior. Based from the survey, low self-esteem, inferiority complex, insecurities in life, bad experience from the past and simply the imagination is going wild.

I've seen, heard and meet these kind of people and I simply don't want to be in his/her company. As the saying says, "Be careful whom you're hanging with", trouble is contagious.
We can avoid this kind of person but never condemn.
We will just pray for those people to find peace within themselves.

Have a blessed Sunday and thank you for visiting my humble place.

Glad I Found My Toy

I used my Bana's cellphone as an alarm clock this morning. I can't find mine nowhere inside our house.

As far as my memory works minus the dementia...(wink!) it was in Angelina's custody playing games while waiting for our ride last night going to a "have some fun evening with girlfriends" in town.

We met in our house as our starting point. Carpool was our main goal in hitting our destination. There were five adults and 2 kids smoothly riding in a Cadillac SUV owned by our generous friend. The laughters and fun began as we travel along the way.

I was not sure what's the occassion all about but were all full with the yummylicious food plus the never ending talking and laughing session with girlfriends. Simply, girls just wanna have fun. Too bad one of our our cute and sexy friend didn't make it through the night for some business matter to take care.

To the accomodating and energetic host, thank you for inviting the GIRLFRIENDS GANG.
It was fun indeed!

Back to my free cellphone, I called my Bana from work to look for it inside our house. At the same time, I message my friend who drove last night asking a favor to please check her vehicle maybe it's there.

Thanks to you my friend for calling back and letting me know that she found my cell. It's not a fancy cellphone but it plays an important role or purpose in my being.

I picked up my cell together with two girlfriends and we got lost for about 30 minutes entering in an about circle route. I'm not good in direction...my weakness!

Anyway, we had lunch in our friend's abode. I can't help it if food is being serve on the table. It's a blessing that you can't resist. Thank you, Ms!

Girls wanna have fun...
The tsibugan session

Did you see all their facial expressions? Hmmmm...I'm not sure what they are talking...lolz!

A night with full of fun and laughters

Hectic Evening

...talking over the phone, wink! Not that I'm proud to be on the phone most of the time but today I was in trouble.

Before I left the house for an oil change, my phone was ringing. It's a dear friend who called. I answered the phone and put her on hold and talked to my Bana to wait for me during dinner time.

I was fine when I left the house. I talked back to my friend that was on hold which we normally do. When the speaker called that my car is ready for pick, I finally hang up and said goodbye to my friend.

After my oil changed, I got a free car wash which is a normal routine. While waiting in line for the car wash, I called my other friend since our conversation yesterday was cut due to busy-ness in life. I made it up today until I was driving home. While I was in our garage, my cell had a call waiting and it was my husband calling. I put my friend on hold and answered my KSP...ahemmm Bana. I told him that I'm at home already ready to get in the house.

I resumed talking to my friend while preparing dinner. While I was in the kitchen, I saw my Bana bringing a bowl from down stairs. I thought he already eat looking at the bowl. So I asked him but he was not happy about how I asked him since I told him to wait for me. In other words, they didn't eat yet. I finally bade goodbye to my friend on the phone before my Bana get so upset. To you friend, I apologized. Hectic as in...wink!

We had black-eyed Pea and Humba pork for dinner. It's Ma who cooked the Humba and I did the easy recipe of the Pea.

Funny thing, while eating...my phone was ringing. I didn't bother to pick up the phone. My Bana looked at me and I looked at him. We looked at each other and he just had a smile on his face and said, "I don't know about you, Dear...you are just so cute." Cute being on the phone...wink!

I better say goodnight and get ready for bedtime. Sweet dreams as you snuggle with your Bana in bed.

Superbowl Sunday

We all woke up than our regular Sunday schedule. Our church service was being held in Broomfield Event Center which is 15 minutes drive compared to a five minutes drive to our regular home church.

All the morning, noon and evening services were being combined. It was my second time to be in that arena, Broomfield Event Center.

We had a simple lunch at Country Buffet with the whole family.

It's a fact that after eating a heavy meal, we feel like going to bed and sleep, which we all did...wink! I didn't sleep that long and went downstairs to watch my ASAP '09 and THE Buzz.

When Angelina and Hubby woke up, we all watched the Superbowl. I'm not a football fanatic but just want to see all the commercials being shown.

On the other side, this video blog is being offered again and for the first time, I tried and it works. It's not a professional handy work of mine but at least it's the fruit of my labor...wink!

One more thing, our bulad session yesterday was fun.

I came home by 9:00 PM where Angelina's already in bed. Hubby was waiting for me and we ended up watching a late night movie show. Another refreshing evening full of memories from my Bana. I'm glad he is very romantic and knows how to please his better half. (FYI: dili jud siya LANAY ug full of energy.
